Our Values
Honesty and Integrity in everything we do.
Trust and Respect.
History
Paltex Silkscreen Printers was established in Newton, Johannesburg in
1981 by the late Dereck Chetty. His vision was to create a company,
with a reputation for reliability and a drive for quality and customer
service.
The company has grown through the years to become a leader in the industry. Competitively priced, the highest quality standards and superior customer service are winning prepositions with our customers to ensure that we remain the preferred “PAL in TEXtile” printing.
Today
Today, PG Paltex is still a family business with its very same values
and standards intact. A print partner who is able to provide a combination
of up to date technology, in house graphics, practical solutions and the
willingness to go the extra mile.
Social Responsibility
At P.G Paltex Screen Printers we believe
children are our future. In order to realize this dream the company has
sponsored Non Profit Organizations such as Chubby Chums Children’s home
and a feeding scheme at the Nkosi Johnson Children’s haven.
We have done a kiddies Christmas party at the Aryan benevolent home for
homeless children. In our latest educational project we undertook an educational
tour for children in conjunction with the Red Cross and the Hector Pieterson
museum in Soweto.
The aim of joint venture was to promote the importance of education in
children’s lives.
Every year, we strive to continuously do projects for children and the hope that this small token will play a bigger part in bettering the lives of our children.

DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN'S PROJECT
Collaboration between the south
African red cross and Hector Pieterson Memorial and Museum (25th August
2007)
This was a collaborative project
between the South African Red Cross the Hector Pieterson memorial and
museum and was initiated as part of our disadvantaged children’s outreach
programme at the museum. It was proposed by Mr. Deon Chetty,
a relative, and proprietor of PG Paltex Silkscreen Printers cc,
with the aim of providing disadvantaged and abused children from the South
African Red Cross with an educational outing at the Hector Pieterson
Memorial and Musuem.
Each year these kids are sponsored by Mr. Deon Chetty and are taken
to different places of educational value and this year the chosen venue
was the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Musuem, which would plan an interactive
and exciting programme for the event. Negotiation and planning began
in earnest and the programme was finalized with Saturday,
the 25th August 2007 chosen as the date. The event was a thourogh
success and enjoyed by all participants. It proved to be very informative
in relation to the day’s programme and it was very emotional as it was
the first time that these kids had visited the museum. They
were very grateful for us hosting them and have pledged to return
in the near future.
